Dream bike:
I just might have it! After riding the small Intruders for the last 12 yrs, they were starting to feel like I was riding a toy. I was ready to move up to a bigger more comfortable bike. Now I don't want to get back on a small bike.
First ride:
I rode as a passenger on my uncle's or dad's friends bikes, they always got careless and I would end up rolling on the ground, scratched up and bruised. This is why I got my own bike and started riding, first dirt bikes, then years later changed to street bikes.
Why you ride:
I love the curves. I can feel the road, smell things and see so much more, not being stuck in a cage. It puts a big smile on my face.
Most memorable experience (or trip) on a motorcycle:
Probably my most nerve racking ride was from Richland to Yakima with 60 mph wind gusts. Some power lines had already snapped. I had white knuckles and was ready to pull over and give up the fight to just stay vertical. At times I could only see about 30 feet in front of me due to the dust blowing so thick.
Favorite ride:
I love the ride around the Hood Canal, cool breeze and beautiful sights. It has some of my favorite stops to get ice cream or a good burger.
Favorite road food:
Beef jerky, granola bars, nuts
What woman motorcyclist is your biker chick heroine:
I have always been impressed by women who have a passion to ride motorcycles, and take the path less traveled.
