That's my name. Well, Splash is my name but it was taken and I often go by Splashita, the Spanish diminutive of Splash because my Spanish is so poor I speak like a child.

Empowerment, self-reliance, independence, freedom, joy, challenge... thumbing my nose at the world.

Most memorable experience (or trip) on a motorcycle:

Memorable Bad: Pillion on a Ducati going WAY TOO FAST through a Seattle tunnel and realizing that if I did anything but stay relaxed we were both going to die horribly.
Memorable Good: Passing an Ex on the streets of St. John (Antigua) and then seeing him later at the store - it was obvious to us both how much he had underestimated me!

Favorite ride:

So far... Willoughby Bay, Antigua... cruising along the beach road, twists and turns out past old sugar mills and Eric Clapton's rehab facility to Darkwood Beach and Harmony Hall for lunch! Did I mention how much I MISS the Caribbean??

Favorite road food:

Don't have one but I always pack Gatorade!

What woman motorcyclist is your biker chick heroine:

My Aunt Barbara- toured with my uncle across the country several times each with their own bikes and later with one big Goldwing with a trailer! My first exposure to bikes and I was impressed!!
