Assistant Chapter Director

Forum name:

Annoramma

Why that name:

A former co-worker gave me that nickname.

Current bike:

1985 Honda Shadow

Dream bike:

Have not found it yet but it would fit me as well as my current one, be newer and have more cc’s.

First ride:

I passed my motorcycle road test on June 27, 1988 (I still have my temporary permit with my test score!) on a Yamaha Special 400cc so that was my first official ride.

Why you ride:

Because it feels empowering, exciting, and it is a great way to explore the world.

Most memorable experience (or trip) on a motorcycle:

I will mention 4 — Completing an Iron Butt ride around Lake Superior July 1990. Riding through road major construction (ie. 3 feet of soupy mud) north of Glacier National Park while on a 3 week, 6,000 mile trip in August 1990. Susan G. Komen Pony Express Ride from Minneapolis MN to Jamestown SD with 100 other women (so empowering!!!). And lastly June 2004 riding with 18 other WA women to the West Cost Women’s Ride in Bend Oregon.

Favorite ride:

Depends on my mood and the season!

Favorite road food:

Grilled cheese sandwiches at small town greasy spoons.
